I like this combination MUCH better than other luggage combination locks I've used 1) The 4 digit combination is 10 times more secure than a 3 digit combination (though let's face it - an aggressive thief can easily pick the lock if he/she wants to) 2) I can actually READ those high contrast white numbers on black numbers, even without my reading glasses! This alone is a great advantage. (the ones with "silver" combination dials are VERY difficult to read)

I have no idea why most locks have chrome dials because the high gloss makes the digits hard to see, especially if you're in a hurry. This lock is a game changer in comparison, as the dials are black with white numerals, so the high contrast and matte finish is user-friendly.
