I was impressed with this phone holder and car charger; it works! It doesn't come with a cigarette lighter adapter that you can plug in, but it does come with a USB-C cable that you can use if you have your own. If your dashboard already has a USB port, you can use what's included. I've been using it in both my car and my wife's car for about a week. One cool thing is that it attaches to the car air vent with a clip so you can easily move it from car to car. It comes with a dashboard adapter if you want to attach it semi-permanently to your dashboard. I've used one of those sticky suction cup dash mounts before, and while it works for the most part, I ended up not saving it. On those really hot days when your car is burning in the sun all day at work, the heat weakens the suction cup and mostly falls off the dashboard when you put your heavy phone in the holder. Because the suction cup is a kind of sticky material, it often gets stuck on the dashboard. It's nice that you have the opportunity to use them here. Once the mount is in place, a magnet attaches the phone to it fairly easily, although you can't have a case on your phone for this to work. Since my suitcase is easy to put on and take off, this isn't a huge problem for me, but for those who have complex bulky suitcases this WILL NOT work. I've ridden on everything from slick highways to the old brick streets of Akron, Ohio, and neither the phone nor the vent mount has come off. Everything stayed in place, just as it should be. After I plugged it into my car's high-speed cigarette lighter charger, the device charged my phone and gave it the battery it needed. Very happy with this car charger/holder.
