I wore this item while scuba diving to protect my face from the sun between dives. The ear loops were comfortable and I avoided sunburn (I can't put sunscreen on my face when snorkeling. When diving, I pull it over my neck to allow for the mask and regulator. The mask dries quickly between dives and was easy to rinse out). at the end of the day and dry overnight. The only thing I noticed with everything I tried when wet was a little difficult to breathe. I do not know why. It was ok once it dried a bit. The bright colors made it easy to find in your gear bag or in your bath conditioner at the end of a day's diving.
