Hold the boots on well
I was surprised at how easy they were to put on my dog and that they really held up. It only took him a few trips outside to learn how to walk in it. And they definitely kept his feet from getting too cold to stay outside and use the potty. I will say that you should definitely measure your dog's paws and not just stick to the weight ranges given. My dog is a chihuahua mix with tiny paws and if we were using a scale the shoes would be great for us.
