Generally best with cotton
The color was exactly like the picture, not red but dark purple. Works great on cotton, but not so well on pure cotton blends. The mixed fabric came out streaky and had to be dyed twice. Be sure to follow the instructions and also look for tips on using this brand and dyeing the fabric. In total I had enough to dye 8 dresses.
