I've been thinking about getting a second monitor for a while. I would buy a used Dell but new ones are very expensive. Older Dell monitors are good value but they are all square and lack modern features like HDMI etc. Finally bought this one. It is easy to use and requires no external power supply. Just connect the HDMI cable (included) from your computer to your display and you're good to go. It is so easy. For other monitors, you need to use the power cord and then the HDMI cable. In this case only one cable is used. +1 for that. -> It has an aluminum body. Trust me, if you stick the Apple logo on the aluminum back, you won't be able to tell if it's an apple or something else. Well done. -> Brightness is great too. -> If activated, the support number is displayed. I think it's a well thought out move. If you ever lose your box or manual, you won't know where to contact FOD customer service. Thanks to this thoughtful feature, it's great to know where to call. -> I used a USB to USB-C cable to connect the screen to my Android phone and it worked great straight away. As said, no external power supply is required. -> In any case, an external power supply is in the box if you need to connect a device that doesn't provide enough power for the screen (I think). Overall a great screen and not expensive. supervised.
