This is the fourth portable monitor I've used with a similar design. This one from Svantto is the thinnest, lightest and easiest to connect of the four. When I opened the box, the front was covered with a piece of clear plastic to protect the screen. I was able to remove it, but the adhesive holding it to the top of the screen left a mark that took me a while to remove. It was a little annoying, but not much. The monitor comes with a magnetic cover/stand that you use to protect the screen during transport. It becomes a stand when you use the monitor. The instruction manual doesn't say how to attach it, but it's magnetic and its angle can be easily adjusted to any desired position. Just watch the video on the product page to see how it should look. The box contains 3 cables and a power supply. One cable has a USB-C connector on both ends. In most cases, this is the only cable you'll need, especially if you're connecting a monitor to a Mac. There is another USB-C to HDMI cable for computers that don't have a USB-C port for video. If you are using this cable or the USB-C port on the computer you are connecting to does not provide enough power to power the monitor with just one cable, you will need to connect the third cable provided as well. This is a USB-C to USB-A cable. You can either plug this cable into the included power adapter and a standard electrical outlet, or plug the USB-A end into a port on your computer to provide additional power for your monitor. If the monitor doesn't have enough power, sometimes it still works, but you can't increase the brightness above 30. It's very dark at this level, so I recommend using the AC adapter if needed. If the monitor gets enough power, you can regulate the brightness up to 100. I prefer to leave it at 80. The only gripe is that the screen still looks a bit faded even at full brightness. In terms of brightness and color saturation, it doesn't come close to any of my laptop or tablet screens. So do not order this monitor and do not think that you will use it for photo editing or other purposes that require accurate color reproduction. But as a second monitor for viewing documents or watching videos, it is sufficient. When I placed an order a few days ago, I noticed that it was sold for $250. Now the price has been reduced to $200. At this price, this monitor is good despite the shortcomings I mentioned. By the way, if you need to connect the cables from the video adapter and the power supply, it doesn't matter in which order you connect them. There are two USB-C ports on the lower left side of the monitor and they are the same. This allows you to connect the video cable and power cord to any port.
