Detox is a buzzword that often means nothing in the beauty world. However, salons use a clarifying shampoo (+ conditioner) on your hair to make it as soft as you leave. They do what the bottle advertises - remove the build-up of oil, minerals in your water, product, etc. - and this makes our hair coarser, heavier and tangle-free. Redken Clarifying Shampoo is fantastic! I use it at least every two weeks and it makes my hair so soft compared to times when I don't use it at all. It's too strong and not needed for everyday use, justifying the price as it lasts a long time.
