Review on Gordini Unisex-Child Easy on Mitten: Effortless Winter Wear for Kids by Nick Colton

Mittens not intended for use by children (who must wear THEIR GLOVES)

I read other parents' reviews and was so excited to get them UNTIL I realized HOW DIFFICULT it is for a small child to put these mittens on by themselves. I bought these for my preschooler and we had to practice a few times until she felt comfortable wearing them to school. In a last ditch effort, she threw away those mittens and decided that day to take her badly worn but warm wool gloves to school. If you are around to help your kids with gloves (e.g. on the weekends) they will be fine. Again, these mittens would be acceptable if they were designed in such a way that the child's free hand (crammed into one mitten under the sleeve of the coat) could put on another mitten (which at least isn't possible). for my children).

Pros
  • Love it! They are warm and my kids can easily put them on and take them off.
Cons
  • The zipper broke the third time my nephew used them. It feels like I bought him a crappy Christmas present.
