The name of this product is misleading. This is not an anamorphic adapter to change the aspect ratio of the camera. Even the 'official' photo is taken in such a way that the front lens appears to curve horizontally rather than vertically, adding to the confusion as to its purpose. Descriptions scattered all over the internet state that this makes the field of view essentially the same as a 16:9 camera. This is nothing more than an adapter for a wide-angle lens.
