Difficult to put on (expected) but the top is too tight. Item not as shown - the top cuff is narrower and narrower than shown and also narrower than the part of the sock just below. This creates a tourniquet effect around the ankle which is counterproductive to reducing foot swelling. Despite carefully measuring and actually estimating the size, reading the instructions carefully and getting help, the socks were difficult to put on and became more and more painful to wear.
