I bought Crocs and Native brands in women's size 10, in black shoes with white soles. The Crocs Citilane Roca water shoes were much softer for step cushioning and more flexible than the stiffer Native Miles water shoes. Up until now I've only worn the Skechers H2 Go water shoes because they're the standard for soft, cushioned cushioning. The Crocs weren't as soft as the Skechers but they're close and I think they'll do, while the Native shoes in black won't be soft enough for my slightly bruised feet, they're making a comeback. ordered the Native Miles in white, which are SIGNIFICANTLY more flexible, softer, and softer than the same models in black (I noticed the same difference in Native Jefferson's black and white style - the white shoes were soft enough to wear). they are, while the black version is so stiff I could barely bend them enough to put my foot in and it was hard to stand on). I don't keep Native Miles in white because my toes press against the end of the shoe, but I wouldn't order a size up because they would be too big and slip off when I'm walking on the water in the ocean.
