The mesh is soft in design and abrasion-resistant. If you're using an abrasive need, get a passport You get what you pay for with this washcloth set...quality For about $12.99 you get a loofah set that should last This Se t can be used for color matching or for use in one or more bathrooms. If you want to get by on a budget, you certainly can. If I saw this set in a store next to a cheap one I would buy it. Highly recommended!
