I wear a glove on my hand to get a firm grip with my pickleball paddle and this specific glove is probably the 4th or 5th different one that I have tried. While the others also served their purpose, I feel like compared to those which were made of a leather and man made material that was more smooth than anything, these gloves with their very textured surface on the palm and fingers provides me with a much better grip. It took me a few times playing to get used to them because they also seem a bit thicker, but now that I have used the 1st one of the two that I purchased, I really love them and definitely will plan on buying two more again soon.
