I still have the original Xbox360, there are many great games for this system and I don't feel the need to give them up just because Microsoft says I should buy an Xbox One! My old TV had full RGB component connections, but I bought a new TV and it only had a "YELLOW" SD component connection. Using this port will give you the best 480P and games will look terrible. This box is YPbPr or also known as RGB to HDMI converter. You plug in the HD RED GREEN BLUE cables from the Xbox360, as well as the Audio RED and WHITE cables, and this box converts everything into an HDMI interface, allowing you to connect your Xbox to modern TVs. On my older TVs that supported RGB cables, the best I could get was 720P. However, when I access the Xbox display menu screen, it says I'm connected to a 1080P network! This unit converts beautifully, Xbox360 games look great again, very smooth transmission and the audio works well too. The box uses a DC adapter, but it's small. However, it doesn't take much power to work, but anything doing the conversion needs power, so that's fine. The connection is very simple and takes less than a minute. Also the price of this box is affordable and I highly recommend it! 5 out of 5 stars.
