Review on 💡 Sylvania LED Ceiling Light Bulb - Comparable Efficiency, Non-Dimmable by Paul Stevens

Pros: - Looks way better than just a lightbulb in a china fixture - Quick upgrade for basement fixtures - Easy to install - Fits in or installs an existing china fixture as a permanent fixture (accessory included) - Frosted glass dome distributes light evenly - Light appears to fill area better than a 100W equivalent CFL it replaces. - Even lower power consumption than CFL and should last longer (too new to tell) - Light doesn't hang as low as a traditional incandescent bulb, which is great when you're dealing with a low ceiling. Disadvantages - Very yellow light! I didn't know much about the color temperature of light - it turns out that 2700K is a very warm, very yellow light. Since I was trying to convert my basement into a craft room, it didn't work out very well for me. I ended up buying the same style for 4000k for my work place and ported it to other lights in the basement. I wish they were all 4000K (hence 4 stars instead of 5) but I can live with that and they are a definite upgrade from what I had before. Did you find my review helpful?
