Both devices worked great. I used one to remove the old spikes and the other to tighten the new ones. If you try to take them off any other way you will be very disappointed as the cleats are bolted very tightly into the shoe. Once you remove them, the two-pronged device ensures that the new spikes are firmly in place. There are two clicks; one click occurs when the cleat is initially screwed in by hand, the other click occurs with a two-pronged device with a twist of the wrist. It took no more than five minutes to remove and swap out all the spikes on both shoes. Great buy at a reasonable price.
