Review on Boss Pet Tie Out Stake by Nancy Meyer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Boss Pet Tie Down Stand with 7/16 " diameter tie bar and 16 " long tie bar

This Boss Pet tie bar with ball bearing works well in our garden mounts for our Labor and Golden. Our dogs are quite hyperactive, especially labradors, so they quite often pull and tug on the leash while fighting or otherwise fooling around. After hitting it with a hammer, the peg is fixed and is flush with the ground. The steel anchor post is 16 inches long with a welded one piece stabilizing fin on about three quarters and appears to be either chrome plated or zinc plated. It has a ball bearing spinning dome that rotates with the dogs' leashes as they roam and move from one end of the yard to the other. The top of the bearing looks like an old steel in-line skate wheel with a welded metal loop large enough to connect both carabiners on our two dogwire encased cables. This seems to help keep the lines from tangling and tangling as easily as they typically do with the fixed anchor stakes we've always used. The bearing itself was practically dry with grease when it arrived, so I used a can of white gunk grease with a plastic nozzle to spray some grease on it before driving the post into the ground. In any case, this bet seems to be up to the task so far.
