Review on ๐Ÿ“ฑ ACdream Surface Pro 7 Case with Multiple Viewing Angles (Compatible with Type Cover Keyboard/Kickstand), Grey by Dave Hock

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm pretty sure this broke my train - please wait and invest in something better.

Received at the beginning of the school year. It's quite thin and thin - not that it's a cover, more like a cover. I was planning on putting this in my backpack (I'm an art student and my foundation backpack had all sorts of pint/crayon shavings in the bottom) so I wanted it. The cover worked well but it was painful to put on at first. I really didn't like the difficulty of opening it or the impact it had on the keyboard - not ergonomic at all. I thought I had a regular cheap case but imagine my surprise when 3 months into normal use I hear a crunch right next to the rubber strap on the stand - it's BROKEN. I understand that Surfaces are notorious for their crappy coasters, but I hadn't even had this computer for half a year at this point. Was very upset and the Microsoft warranty does NOT cover any hardware fixes so it cost $500 without negotiation - more than $10. Needless to say, it left a BAD taste in my mouth. Honestly, if you need a case, save and invest in it. I asked a shallow subreddit and they recommended that to me, I'm 4 months old now and have no regrets. I have an STM Dux case and even with my broken stand it not only works as a stand replacement but also as an INSAMENTLY strong and powerful case. It's like an Otterbox in surface cases. Please, PLEASE don't waste your time and possibly damage your computer with it. It does not serve as a stand for the surface and could possibly damage it due to the deformation of the gums. Would give 0 stars if I could - please, PLEASE be careful.
