High contrast analog dial, glow in the dark, large, easy to read, easy to read at 1/4 psi pressure drop. A battery is required (so don't worry about the battery rotting and leaking if stored in the extreme temperatures of the Midwest). The domed rubberized dial is also easier to hold firmly on the valve stem (even with cold, freezing hands) while maintaining the correct angle for accurate pressure readings than a flimsy stick gauge. I think this would be the perfect tool for someone with arthritis symptoms or other hand grip limitations. The brass head rotates 360Β° and is also threaded giving you the option to add an extension or switch to a double or presta head if you have one. High pressure hold feature, so I didn't notice any noticeable drop in pressure after removing this gauge from the tire valve stem. while it was cheap enough to throw in a tool case "just in case". The gauge came packaged in a thin cardboard box along with a warranty page and a satisfaction rating card, and the dial has a peel-off protective film. This item was shipped in a bubble envelope. I chose to leave the protective film in place as it will likely get a little banging together with wrenches and screwdrivers and hopefully this will prevent scratching the dial. I hope others find this review and photos helpful in choosing a tire pressure gauge.
