I've had this bag for about a month and wanted to get a good feel for it before writing a review. First of all I have to say how much I love this bag. It's 100% pure leather (and smells like it, which I love), it's durable, functional and has the cutest shape, cut and color - seriously, the color of the leather is deep and rich and absolutely stunning. I am very careful about the shoulder bags I carry as I have had a Fossil leather shoulder bag since about 2012. This Fossil bag went with me everywhere (around Europe, different states, concerts, sporting events, weddings) and when I finally decided to give it up for a while, I went to Revain to find the perfect replacement and found this wallet . It's everything I could wish for and more. It has enough space for my phone (which I put in the front pocket in the main part of the wallet because the lining is soft and doesn't itch or scratch). jar), keys, lip balm/lipstick, pens, large wallet (Hoxis faux leather wallet organizer with double zip around long wallet with wrist strap (brown) (which fits perfectly below) and many other items - and I didn't even have to use a front bag with a clasp!The leather strap is adjustable, which I admit was a bit annoying considering the only thing keeping this bag from falling off my shoulders is a small buckle, but it's surprisingly very, very secure and the concerns quickly subsided after a few uses. The only (temporary) downside to an adjustable strap is that the pieces of leather that are left at the end will curl up a bit, but eventually as the leather wears more it will sort itself out tame reviews have noted, and as the seller states in the detailed note that accompanies the wallet, the L eder quite hard when wearing you get it for the first time. It went away for me within a few weeks but may change if you don't wear it every day like I do. There is a distinct smell but contrary to what other reviews say it was not unpleasant nor overpowering. To me it had a very distinct new leather smell and I'm actually a little upset that it's weathered. To address the concerns expressed in other reviews about the security of this bag that stays closed and the inconvenience of having to close it every time, there is a simple (and safe) solution. The top flap tucks into the bottom of the buckle and keeps the bag closed without the need to close the bag. And even if it's not your thing, the pocket is deep enough that the only way you'll throw things out of this pocket is if you're in high-traffic areas where you can get hit or practically swung by it. Chapter. But I digress. I am totally in love with this bag. It's stylish, functional and safe. I have 3 international trips coming up in the next 4 months and I look forward to taking this bag with me on my adventures.
