The modules themselves appear to be much more rigid than the ones I replaced in my 4 year old Xbox controllers. But I'm sure they will relax. They don't stick out in any direction, which is a plus. I haven't been able to connect them yet, but I'll update this review when I do. The plastic thumbsticks they come with are perfect but feel a little fake and cheap compared to the real thing. Lightweight and slightly sticky/tacky. I paid more money for inferior products at surface cost.
