I have had a love-hate relationship with this product for the past 18 months. There are two main problems. First, the product quality consistency is pretty poor. A good container is great, five stars. Not chalky, pleasantly subtle taste, goes very well in the form of a smoothie with fruit. I always look forward to a post-workout cocktail. However, over 50% of the products I have received, especially in the last 6 months, tasted rancid and had to be returned. The issue seems to be vendor specific as I have had consistently good items from a few vendors and tend to only buy from them. It's not clear if this was a stock issue or if some sellers just received bad batches of the product. second problem. The latest product that comes from one of the trusted sellers has a totally different taste and look now. It has a very distinct and unpleasant rice bran aroma/flavor that I find incredibly unappetizing. The vanilla flavor has also been toned down and is now barely noticeable. Thought it was a coincidence so I ordered the chocolate version with the same result. It's easier to digest, but still doesn't taste good. Got good containers of vanilla and chocolate so I know how they tasted. I will not be buying this product again which is a shame as I really like it as a vegetarian protein supplement. I don't know what Nutribiotic changed, but you just lost an old customer.
