Warmest and Driest Socks I’ve Ever Worn

I have a permanent spinal injury, and one of the side effects is my feet are almost constantly cold, so socks have become the most important part of my wardrobe. Seriously. The three primary concerns when shopping for socks are warmth, dryness, and softness. Heat Most Thermal 4.7 socks are easily the warmest and driest socks I’ve ever worn. (Side note: If you’re going for softness, Heat Holders 2.3 are the softest, second driest and tied for second with SmartWool socks for warmth.) Heat Most Thermal 4.7 is also a very well-made sock, with SmartWool being the only other sock that appears to be better made and more durable. SmartWool and Heat Holders 2.3 are both almost as warm as Heat Most socks, but what really sets Heat Most apart is the dryness factor. I put my socks on at 6 am, and don’t take them off until midnight, and my feet are only as dry as the Sahara with the Heat Most socks. Also, I got 6 pairs of Heat Most Thermal 4.7 socks for the price of one pair of SmartWool socks.

Pros
  • These are the only socks I wear all year long. They really help my old aching feet which I’m on all day.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to clean due to their thickness
