I received the screen cover today. I read other reviews before making this purchase. I expected the cap to look cheap or difficult to put on (or both). anyway i decided to order it since i could send it back for free if it doesn't work iMac the cover is like those stretchy sheets you have to start at the corner and the other corner to the other edge of the screen stretch. The texture of the cover is made of soft fabric. I have attached some photos of what the cover looked like on my iMac. My screen cover is black and I used a flash in the left photo to show the texture of the cover. The photos on on the right to show how the color looks in natural light and how the lid wraps around my iMac's screen to point out that the lid doesn't fit the iMac perfectly as far as the fillet seam which matches the corner of my screen 100%. It's less than half an inch. I personally don't mind as it's hard to see.
