I know that when it comes to branded products I usually prefer to buy products from the same brand that they are used for. As Sony doesn't sell branded cables this one is the best quality and I can also tell it's officially licensed which means it should work just fine. Not junk you find at exchange meetings or in places like fryer electronics that fall apart after a month of use. It has a good length and connects uncompromisingly on both ends. Of course I don't have a PS4, I have a PS2 with an adapter to use the PS4 controller. Just because there are too many fake PS2/PS3 controllers and regular PS2 controllers, I've lived there all my life and failed. So instead of using PS2 controllers, I got a new official PS4 controller.
