The thing works really well.

I was skeptical but after only using it once I liked this item. Removed grease, eggs, bacon and cheese from a dirty 8" Lodge skillet from cooking a quiche-like breakfast. The water was not sizzling in the hot pan. I let it cool to room temperature and scrubbed it lightly with just warm water and a wire scrubber. Cleaned like new in a few seconds and then rubbed down a bit with oil. This will make life much easier offline.
