These puppies are great! The leather is very soft and supple with a satin finish. They were immediately comfortable; Hacking is not required. The rubber outsole has a nice non-slip profile, which I really like. The insole is very comfortable; All brackets and gaskets are in the right places. When I took them out of the box they seemed very tight, but they fit my normal or wide foot perfectly. I'm a size 8.5 and although I'm that size there is no extra room in the sock. At first I thought they were too small but they are very comfortable and I think a size 9 would be too big, although sometimes I wear a size 9. I would say a size 9 could probably be worn but an 8 would not. These are very beautiful and high quality shoes; Good leather and well stitched but not as durable as other penny loafers I've had. I've had pairs that never wore out, even after being soaked in salt water and mud and worn for decades, but they didn't hold up to that kind of treatment. However, they are a bit more comfortable and have a nice, polished look that can be casual or dressy where my others couldn't. I think these moccasins are good value for money.
