Bad experience with emergency strobe lights

I had a very bad experience with this purchase. I was trying to plug it into a 12V plug to use as a warning light in my personal vehicle for fire engine/ambulance response. When I got everything set up, the light blinked once and then nothing. Thought I might have a bad plug and ordered a new one to try again. Same deal. As a result, I turned to a specialist who discovered a malfunction in the switch. It's been like this since I got it. Unfortunately it took me so long to discover that it was well outside the return window so now I need to replace the switch.
