This pump does everything for me! I was skeptical about the claim of its ability, but now I'm convinced! I knew it was different from other float/air cushion pumps as soon as I turned it on: it sounded very different. I think most float pumps are repurposed tire pumps, meaning they are designed to produce high enough pressure for car tires, but as a result move a lot less air per unit time. They all sound pretty high. The noise of this pump is much quieter, as if the pump were moving large amounts of air less often per unit time. This pump appears to be made specifically for inflating big things that don't require high pressure, like floats, air mattresses, etc. It's always fun to pump your float around the same time as someone else and finish well ahead of them! It's really impressive how quickly this pump inflates a large swimmer. My float is a "Texas Flag Tube Float". Find it. You can probably find it fairly easily. This pump inflates the main chamber in about 10 seconds! A big plus is that it's rechargeable and lightweight so I can take it into the water with me. It doesn't need to be plugged in, so I don't have to inflate anything in the car, i.e. don't have to drag an inflated float out of the car and into the water. Conveniently, the pump doesn't turn on when the charge port cover is in place. This will prevent the pump from accidentally turning on when the switch is pressed.
