My dogs love it! in dogs

Shortly after ordering the product, I received a handwritten postcard asking for an honest review. There wasn't a free product offer or anything like that, but who can refuse to write a review for a company willing to take the time to handwrite you a note?! (The dog on the watercolor cover is adorable.) It's been a while since I got this postcard a few months ago, but here it is. I have two dogs, a Havanese and a Miniature Schnauzer. Both have digestive problems, both related to the water balance in the gut. My Havana cat's stomach is easily irritated by too much water in her food (e.g. too much canned food) which causes diarrhea. Therefore, this gourd can be used to strengthen their bowel movements. Works like magic. On the other hand, my miniature schnauzer has the opposite problem: she needs TONS of water to eat, or her poo looks like rock if she can walk at all (sorry for the imagery!). Pumpkin can also help with this as it is a fiber and can (and should) be mixed with sufficient water. She's 11 too, so I gave her this pumpkin when I had to talk her into eating it because it looks pretty tasty. I give 5 stars for the "taste" but of course I can't confirm that personally as I've tried it. However, my Havana cat would sometimes refuse to eat if I forgot to sprinkle pumpkin on her dry food. My miniature schnauzer was just as demanding and refused food unless she could smell it on her food. All I can say is that I appreciate organic pumpkin and the label states that pumpkin (+pumpkin seeds) and apple are the only ingredients. I just noticed that Native Pet has a bone broth based product that should be very helpful for my elderly dog with her aging health. Good luck and health to all dogs!
