Great fit, but don't forget to stretch a little when you dip them in water
These are the cutest water shoes! I have women's shoes in size 8.5-9 and bought 8.5. I bought the 8.5 because I wanted to take it for a walk in the ocean surf, so I knew it would be fully submersible. To my surprise, 9.5 is pretty good for dry too! But when wet they stretched as expected (they are fabric after all). TIP: Wear NEOPRENE socks if you think sand is a problem. At first I wore them with ordinary socks, and walking was uncomfortable because of the accumulated sand. The next time I put them on I used neoprene ankle water socks (make sure the type you use has soft soles, many have thick rubber soles). The neoprene worked like a charm!
