I am very dissatisfied with this umbrella and would not recommend it at all. I waited quite a long time before submitting my review so I could try multiple times. I am very glad I did this because it broke on the third use even without being used in strong winds or even heavy rain. The first sign of a problem was that the automatic mechanism you release to open the umbrella no longer "locked" when closing. This meant that every time I went inside I had to close the umbrella completely with its velcro straps or it would open. I tried to live with it, even at the risk of it getting moldy, but then the handle broke so now I can't even take it with me. I still keep it in case I completely forget about the rain schedules, but with all its problems, it's not worth using every day.
