My teenage daughter keeps a propane lighter in her room for lighting candles. That worries me all the time. An electric lighter alleviates that concern a bit. The lighter itself looks pretty cool and is well made. I've never used it, but it works very well with candles. In fact, it is easier and safer to light a candle when the wick is deep in the jar or when the wick is short. The colors are great and my daughter and I love them. And I should mention that it has a safety switch. It has a tiny LED on it that can work as a flashlight, but it's quite small and I don't think I'll be using it unless I find something else. But for the main purpose I find no flaws.
