I wish I had read Jaime C's review before purchasing. She/he punched him directly in the head. I bought this product because we keep our oil in the fridge and it seemed like a good idea to make little ruffled worms out of cold oil to make it easier to spread. NOT RIGHT. To set the knife at the right angle to get curly replicas you'll need to dig in about 1/8 inch of cold hard butter, which sounds easy, but... Then you need to be holding the piece of butter in your hand. because it starts to slip on the plate. There may be other knives out there like this, but I was expecting the "worms" on the knife to be more like a grater so you can easily slide it over the butter. I don't know how all 5 star people do it - maybe I should just stay away from the kitchen as my wife asks!
