Useful in everyday life. Now that we are dealing with Covid-19, the old-fashioned oral thermometer has been forgotten. It is so easy to use that even a child can handle it. Simply point and pull the trigger, or lightly touch skin anywhere on the body and pull the trigger. That's pretty accurate too. Ready for immediate use. I took it to my doctor's appointments so I didn't have to use the one that rolled across my forehead in the office. As a nurse I am aware that they are not always cleaned after each patient. I know this because some colleagues were annoyed that I and my over-attentiveness meticulously cleaned examination rooms and instruments after each patient.
