I had two pairs of Assert 6 and liked them, 7 is no better. The mesh material isn't as premium as the Model 6 - it looks cheap and shiny, while the padding on the collar and tongue feels thinner and less plush. They also seem narrower than my usual size 6, but that can improve over time. It's still not a bad shoe but overall the 6 were better and very well priced. Sometimes it seems that these model changes are mainly aimed at reducing costs.
