That does exactly what it promises. It comfortably fits my 17.3 inch RoG Strix Hero III laptop and has enough space for my school stuff, limited only by the weight I can carry. The only drawback I find is that the front pockets are quite small. Although it fits in my monstrous laptop, it's impossible to find a charging case and I ended up putting it in my bag rather than a "briefcase" handle, but I have to watch out for rain barely enough for controllers and too small for a full-fledged headset. You can save smaller cords for something like a Surface. The zippers on the front can hold a small charging cable or a couple of business cards.
