Very soft and comfortable. After sleeping on our RV's short queen bed in an ocean of sheets with regular queen sheets, we finally broke down and bought these short queen sheets. I'm a sheet snob, love soft sheets, hate scratchy cheap sheets. I washed them before use and I have to say we slept very comfortably! These sheets fit the bed, don't ride up, and are soft. My only complaint is that I bought the taupe to match the color scheme of the RV interior which was a mistake. They're not actually grey-brown, more like brown poop. I'm sorry to say that, but it's true. That was the first thing I thought of when I took it out of the box. But I was too lazy to switch to another color. We still won't see them in the dark with our eyes closed! LAUGH OUT LOUD.
