I have a 13 year old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix with throat arthritis. They seem to help a little. I also started giving her to my 10 year old beagle mix because I noticed she was having more trouble jumping on the couch even though she had lost weight and noticed that she doesn't have as much trouble now would have. It took several weeks to notice the difference in both dogs. I pop them in their food bowls at lunchtime and it's the first thing they choose and eat, so I'm guessing they're pretty tasty for dogs. Those are pretty big treats. I have to break them in half for the smaller guy. But they are soft and tear easily. I wish they were a little cheaper as I need them for two dogs, but I think I'll keep begging and stealing coupons from my neighbor's Sunday morning paper on Tuesdays and Thursdays. giggle
