Review on Nikon 35mm f/1.8G Auto Focus Lens for Nikon DSLR Cameras - Black (Model 2183) by Ojasvi Sharma ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall pretty good, an equal number of pros and cons.

The lens is very good considering its price, however, focusing works fine only in good lighting (outdoors and indoors during the day). I took it mainly for indoors when shooting in low light without using a flash (because the built-in one is not very good, and buying the 700th is expensive), but miracles do not happen, so I got tired of looking at many ruined photos due to autofocus errors for this reason sold it and bought a Sigma AF 17-50mm f / 2.8 EX DC OS HSM - just a great fast replacement for a whale lens + a good portrait lens, just as sharp, and the presence of a stub helps to shoot at fairly long exposures without puff, using even lower ISO than with 35 There are almost no misses with hands and misses. Used in conjunction with D7000

Pros
  • - Well, it’s very sharp with 2.0 (I haven’t seen this in either 16-85 or 17-55), the 1.8 hole is also quite working - not bad draws bokeh by budget standards - light - price
Cons
  • - frequent misses in the room when illuminated by incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps (only manual focus will help, maybe puff, but I have not tried it), 90% misses

Good aperture, fast focusing, beautiful bokeh. In low light, it allows you to draw details. Compared to the whale 18-55 is not so flimsy. After the acquisition, I put whale only occasionally. For the price this is a great lens.
