I came from a household that ONLY used Cascade dishwasher detergent. It wasn't until my late 20s when I finally moved into an apartment with a dishwasher (that was in the 90s) and of course I purchased Cascade. I had spent some time overseas in Europe and although I don't recall the favored dishwasher detergent was called, it was packaged exactly like Finish. I believe, although I haven't looked into this, that Finish is a product that was making its debut in the United States when it first came on the market. I stuck to Cascade until I was out of detergent and there was a sale on Finish at whichever store I was shopping what must be 10 years ago by now.Finish, hands down, does a great job (I purchased for this review the Quantum Infinity Shine which is the first time I've used a pod with liquid inside. I've used all the different formulas and methods (powder, gel, little bricks, pods, etc) and they are all excellent so buy whichever formula/methodology you prefer and whichever price point fits your wallet. You will not be disappointed.
