Based on the description, this product seems like a good inexpensive solution that we can take on a cruising boat to enjoy our own music without installing an expensive marine audio system. In this respect it works really well, has a good volume and a decent sound. Build quality seems good for the most part, but I had to return the first one and order a second one because I couldn't find anything else small and with some features like playing music from a disc. The problem with the former is that the micro SD slot doesn't fit snugly in the case, so when trying to insert the drive it went into the space above the actual drive tray. I didn't look very carefully before trying to insert the disc, so I just pointed it at the hole and started inserting it. The disk disappeared into its case and was irretrievably lost. Revain allowed me to disassemble the unit to access my drive. The second is about the same, but at least now I know I have to be extremely careful about where the disc goes.
