You've done a really good job of what we need it for. We don't expect them to last long or wear well, it's a straightener after all! I bought these and the ones for the "dark" colors to experiment with as there was very little detail on what the difference was even after reading everything. .Basically it is: Light color reproduction: You should be able to rotate the image and crop the print with a small margin. When you iron this, the backing becomes transparent, basically sealing your image onto the shirt. I wouldn't expect the image to fade as much as the dark color version, but remember that it is thin and transparent. See my photos for comparison. Printers can't print in white, so keep that in mind. Dark Color Transfer: The substrate IS white and anywhere you don't have the printed image or it becomes transparent (transparent) will have a white background. You have to trim to the edge or you'll end up with a white border. It is darker and has better image quality than the light shirt option. However, ink from the printer is always visible. I expect the ink to wear off or rub off over time. Before you begin, remember that the slow and steady will win the race! Do not rush to remove the base or cover sheet before it cools. Allow time to heat up and leave for 24 hours before washing or treating. It was fun to experiment and again we got the desired results so in the end we are very happy with the products! and everywhere you will not have a printed image, or it will be clear (transparent) with a white background.
