Great light and great price

I rarely write reviews but I was very impressed with this table lamp, especially for the price. I almost expected to have to return it and try a few others, but it works great even though I set up the worst case scenario. I have a 34" ultra wide monitor mounted under a 30" monitor. That means the light is about 2.5 feet from the surface of my table. I was worried it wouldn't be bright enough, but the brightest setting is actually *too* bright and I had to turn it down by about half. The light distribution is very even and diffuse. There are three color temperature settings. The coldest is very blue. The average color is bluish white. The warmest setting definitely has nice warmth and some yellow undertones, but it's not super warm. I leave it in a warm environment. As I was hoping, if you plug it into a switch, the power, brightness, and heat settings are saved, so it can be turned on and off with the switch when the built-in controller isn't ready. available which is not in my setup. Finally, the monitor I attached this backlight to has a glossy, curved back. I wasn't sure if it would hold up. Oh my god, the tape is *really* sticky! It works great; Removing the light source requires some force to move it (don't worry, it's not strong enough to damage anything). This is a great setup for places where a spring loaded clip won't work, e.g. B. with a monitor with a curved back. It is stable even after sticking; The light does not fluctuate or dim when hit. The only very minor complaint I have is that the angle adjustment only has two settings and they are very far apart. I had to spend some time installing it to make sure it wasn't shining directly in my eyes. I wish it had infinite customization, but for the price (I paid $26) I can't complain too much. TL,DR: It's surprisingly good in a lot of unexpected ways and I highly recommend checking it out.
