Attention buyers Best in Bulbs

If your car currently has halogen headlights, I strongly recommend that you check that these headlights will work properly with your vehicle before purchasing. They are very bright but the light pattern is scattered all over the place and doesn't adjust properly on my late 90's Nissan. After installing them, I marked the exact height of the headlights (26.5 inches off the ground), taped them on the wall, and moved the car back exactly 25 feet. These lights scatter the light even four to five feet in the air from a distance of 25 feet. I tried to adjust them as best as possible but it didn't help much. I returned them. There's no doubt that they're bright and the light looks good, but I wouldn't expose an oncoming driver to a hard look in his or her face. I turned on the high beam and found that it was only slightly brighter and slightly higher than the low beam. I would say my two options were high beam and slightly brighter high beam. I did a little reading and found that it's possible to switch from halogen to LED, but you need to make sure the LED cells are pretty much the same shape as the filaments in the halogen bulb you're replacing. Because the mirrors in the headlights are very precisely focused. The cells of these bulbs are triangular and too wide for the headlights in my car. Other available LED lights are flat with one LED filament on each side. This would probably be fine, although LED lights in general are notorious for spreading light all over the place. In the meantime I have just ordered a newer set of halogen bulbs.
