This is a great little shelving unit that will work for my purpose. It was easy to assemble and I really like that it has enough leveling feet and end caps to make 2 shorter blocks. A couple of shelves had a chipped finish where the posts joined, but since the shelf is black I'm sure I'm the only one who knows. Overall it's too big for my purpose of mounting it on a counter but this was an easy fix by simply using 3 of the 4 shelf sections. I like that the shelves are height adjustable. My only concern is how the shelves will be assembled. I use this in my kitchen to lift the toaster off the table so it's easier to sweep the crumbs off the floor. A little more storage space is an added bonus. My toaster is basically the same depth as the shelves, but since the shelves stack like a baking sheet with an edge along the edge and cannot be flipped, it doesn't sit flat on the shelf. I have many other similar heavy chrome shelves in the basement and the ledge on these shelves is down so the shelf is completely flat so anything slightly lower than the shelf still sits flat. I took off a star for the rising lip and peeling paint but I'm still happy with the unit and need to find a solution to get my toaster over the lip.
