This DAC is a music lover's dream! Last year I installed a Topping D30 in my living room music system. The sound improvement was very impressive. When I heard about the new Topping D70 with two modern DAC ICs, I immediately wanted to buy it. I treated myself to celebrate the end of 9 weeks of treatment. DiLiS-HiFi was very kind to expedite the delivery. It came just 2 days after I contacted them! It was wrapped in thick protective packaging for an overseas trip. You can safely buy from this seller. The music from the DAC is smooth and detailed. Thanks to your sound system, you'll hear a realism you didn't even know existed - natural-sounding bass and horns that sound like they're performing live in front of you. If you are a music collector or have a large music library, you should do your best to "complete” it with the Topping D70! My D30 is now happily sitting in another room with my computer playing great sound there. And the last remark. If you're connecting the D70 directly to an amplifier and want to bypass the internal DAC preamp, follow these steps and you'll see a nice improvement in sound: 1. Turn off the unit using the power switch on the rear panel.2. While holding down the SEL button on the front panel, turn the rear power switch3 back on. This will take you to setup mode.4. Use the right arrow key to navigate to "3. LO mode", press SEL to set "PRE" to "DAC".5. Use right arrow to navigate to "10. Save and Exit", press SEL, then the setting will exit and restarted in normal working mode.
