This device does exactly what it was designed to do. Easily connect and convert component connection to HDMI with excellent output. I still have a piece of equipment in my audio/video equipment arsenal that uses component connections. None of my other devices allow components to be connected. This adapter solves this problem. My only downside is that there is no power button, so the device is always on unless it is physically unplugged from the power supply. It's fine, but I rarely use the devices this adapter is plugged into. However, the adapter stays enabled until I disable it. Little waste of electricity. All in all, this adapter is a good choice for those who need this type of conversion.
