Before that, I sat on a regular chair (I've included a photo so you can see how it compared), but after putting together the Metta chair, I don't even know how I could have sat on the chair I was using before. It is difficult to put into words the sensations that come from practicing Metta; you need to take some time to sit and feel. I spent two weeks considering my alternatives before settling on this chair, and I can say without a doubt that I made the right decision. Fits perfectly for someone who is 176 cm tall.
